Sofia Coppola Celebrates Yayoi Kusama For Louis Vuitton

This is old news by now but Sofia Coppola is the epitome in effortless chic and I simply had to share with you this shining example of her impeccable taste. On 12 July, Sofia attended a party to celebrate the collaboration between Yayoi Kusama and Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton, naturally wearing a dress from the LV Pre-Fall 2012 collection in black wool with feathers and sequins. She styled the ethereal dress with a satin clutch and sandals, also by Louis Vuitton. The party was held at the Whitney Museum in New York to launch a retrospective of art by Kusama as well which is on display through 30 September.

I agree, Renee, it is rare to see Sofia with her hair back but it is very becoming. I also think it makes a nice counterpoint to the dress in this instance.
